TV Without Commercials: Boardwalk Empire Season 3 Premiere

The third season of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, started off with a bang…or better yet a whack.  Several whacks to be exact, Gyp Rossetti.  Gyp, from New York, and Dean O’Banion from Chicago, are two new mobsters we have already been introduced to this season, and based on the premiere alone this season practically guarantees to deliver drama […]

TV Recap: Revolution 101 “Pilot”

NBC’s Revolution asks the question “What would you do if the power went out forever.” That premise, although it seems incredibly ludicrous, has some legitimate weight to it. I would have no idea what to do when something like this happens – I’d probably just crawl in a corner with my laptop. But anyways, this […]

TV Rants & Ramblings: Awkward. 2.11 – “Once Upon A Blog”

With the desire to keep the final decision between the boys a secret till the finale, Awkward. goes for the TV right of passage with a “fantasy” type episode guessing as to what could have been and what still can be (musical soon to follow I imagine).  Pretty entertaining for the most part, but come […]

TV Rants & Ramblings: Awkward.2.10 – “Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me”

Following Jenna’s brave act of releasing her journal to the public, she has managed to become her high school’s very own reality TV show.  Everyone wants to know who she is going to choose, Jake or Matty, but that doesn’t mean that she is ready to decide.

TV Without Commercials: Newsroom Season 1 Finale

The beginning of a new school year always lets us know that summer is officially over.  For those of us who aren’t in school, we know that it’s over when we watch the season finales of our favorite summer TV shows.  The Season Finale of Newsroom was magnificent and was a perfect way to end the first […]

TV Rants & Ramblings: Awkward. 2.9 – “Homewrecker Hamilton”

In this episode of Awkward. everything is finally out in the open.  And I mean everything come episode’s end.  Plus, the return of the Frasians!

TV Rants & Ramblings: Awkward. 2.8 – “Time After Time”

With last weeks “cliffhanger” ending of Jake finding out about Jenna’s past with Matty, there is a lot of drama in store for this most recent episode.  So how did Jake handle it?  Not well.  Not well at all…

TV Without Commercials: Newsroom 1.8

I think that I should start out by saying that overall I really liked this episode.  I thought it was one of the better episodes of this season but breaking the episode into two parts is just unnecessary.

TV Rants & Ramblings: Awkward. 2.7 – “Another One Bites The Dust”

A “To be continued…” ending!?  That’s right, this episode surrounding Ally’s wedding is so chalk full of Awkward. drama that it had to carry into a second episode.  One you will not want to miss come next week.

TV Without Commercials: Newsroom 1.6 &1.7

Alright alright, I have to get this out of the way first, and spoiler alert for anyone who missed last night’s Newsroom but Osama Bin Laden is dead.  The navy seals killed him and President Barak Obama addressed the nation on May 1st, 2011.  Appropriately, this week’s episode was entitled “5/1” and was a very obvious […]
