X-Men: Apocalypse is the latest (last?) of the First Class reboot of the X-Men franchise and while it has its moments it never really excels above being average superhero fare.

TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 4.8

The week off was totally worth the wait!  “The Mountain and the Viper” was the most exciting episode in the season so far, and battle for which the episode received its namesake was absolutely riveting!

TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 4.7

Mockingbird, the symbol of Peter Baelish, was an episode of hope.  Just as things seemed to be getting worse and worse for Tyrion Lannister and his wife Sansa Stark, things took a dramatic turn, and their futures got a little bit brighter.

TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 4.5

Tommen Baratheon, First of His Name, and the new king of Westeros.  Long may he reign.  Tommen is now the king of The Seven Kingdoms, and everyone seems much more optimistic about his reign than they were towards his brothers.

TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 4.4

The White Walkers first appearance of the season did not disappoint.  With all of the excitement going on in Castle Black and their concerns with the Wildlings, it’s easy to forget that they have a common and much more terrifying enemy beyond the wall.

TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 4.3

Breaker of Chains finally let us see Danny’s badassness that we have been craving.  I don’t know what it is, but there is something about hearing her yell in a made up language that gives me chills every single time.

TV Without Commercials: Game of Thrones 4.2

The first bombshell of season four has dropped!  Two episodes in, and the game has been changed entirely.  Major character deaths have become a staple of this series but as usual, I don’t think anyone (except for those who read the books) saw this one coming.
