Criminal

Let’s face it, a movie that kills Ryan Reynolds in the first 10 minutes is not a movie I am going to enjoy.

HST… Film Review: Seven Psychopaths

Alan: Seven Psychopath’s brings up the question, “Who here is really sane?”  Yeah, sure we might think that we’re completely normal human beings…but deep down, I think it’s safe to say that we are all just a little bit unhinged.  We all have some thoughts that might seem crazy to some people, and to an […]

TV Without Commercials Review: Boardwalk Empire 2.Final

Complete and utter shock, is the only way I can even come close to describing what I felt when I watched last nights season finally of Boardwalk Empire.  I had a feeling that this show would eventually have only one protagonist, and it was really hard to see them getting rid of Nucky Thompson’s character, but […]

TV Without Commercials Review: Boardwalk Empire 2.11

After last weeks ending, I didn’t think there was anything the writers of boardwalk could have done to match that intensity, but boy was I wrong.  I love the way Agent Sebso has finally come back to haunt Nelson.  He seemed to get carried away in his righteousness at the end of season one, yet […]

TV Without Commercials Review: Boardwalk Empire 2.10

When I first saw that the title of this episode was called Georgia Peaches, I was slightly confused.  What could Georgia peaches have to do with Atlantic City, gangsters and liquor?  Then it hit me.  During the scene where Nucky goes to New York to find a new lawyer,  he meets with Arnold Rothstein’s lawyer […]

TV Without Commercials Review: Boardwalk Empire 2.9

This weeks episode of Boardwalk Empire was entitled “Battle of the Century.”  This was of course referring to the fight between heavyweight champion Jack Dempsey and his french challenger Georges Carpentier which took place in New Jersey on July 2nd 1921.  This would be the only battle that took place during the episode and we […]

TV Without Commercials Review: Boardwalk Empire 2.8

After watching last nights episode of Boardwalk Empire I was left with the feeling that the show would finally become a one protagonist series as opposed to the two protagonists, who have been fighting for supremacy over one another for as long as this show has been on the air.  Nucky’s reign has come to an end.  The legal […]

TV Without Commercials Review: Boardwalk Empire 2.7

Last nights episode of Boardwalk Empire was even more crazy than the week before, which is something I never thought would be possible.  Jimmy now has the power that he has been seeking and it appears that he is in position to lead his group of young gangsters.  They all have one thing in common, […]

TV Without Commercials: Boardwalk Empire – 201

Last night was the season premiere of the second season of Boardwalk Empire. With big names like Martin Scorsese and Mark Wahlberg attached to the executive producer roles the show immediately had high expectations.  The first season most certainly lived up to those expectations and series premiere last night was far from disappointment.
