Halo: Campaign Evolved is the second updated version of the legendary sci-fi shooter, and I’ve been excited to play it for two reasons. The first, it’s a Halo game on Playstation. As someone who thoroughly enjoyed all of the Bungie (man, what a fall from grace) Halo campaigns but hasn’t played on Xbox in years, there was no way I was passing up this opportunity. The second is the “Perspective” skull (Halo’s version of modifiers) that changes the first-person shooter into a third-person experience. I unlocked the option after completing the first mission, so I decided to run through it again with the skull enabled. You can see how it looks for yourself below. Kind of a bummer the character skins you equip don’t show up in cinematics, but I’m still looking forward to running through the whole game with a third person camera.
