With Comic-Con and a brief excursion to my old college town I have been taking my good ol’ time collecting stuff to pass on from the past few weeks.  With that said the list isn’t actually too intense, so have no fear and get right to it!

Movies:

It’s Kind of a Funny Story Trailer – A comedy putting Zach Galifianakis in the psychiatric ward of a hospital, where he becomes a buddy with a younger boy who has voluntarily admitted himself.  Check it out here.

Monsters Teaser Trailer – A creature feature about two people trying to find safety by going through the infected zone in Mexico, an area that has been quarantined off because of new life forms that have been appearing ever since a space probe crashed 6 years ago in that area.  Check out the creepy trailer here.

Sucker Punch Trailer – I know I put this in my Comic-Con write up, as well as another trailer for Megamind, Tron: Legacy, RED, etc., but this was one of the things that I was most excited for coming out of that so I figured those that didn’t read that write up should still know about it (Technically I put It’s Kind of a Funny Story as well, so shh…).  It’s another film from the mind of Zack Snyder about a girl taken to an asylum by her father.  There she uses her mind to escape to another word, one that looks familiar to Snyder’s other recent gritty, saturated, action packed work (including 300 and Watchmen).  Seriously, check it out here.

Gaming:

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Preview – (360/PS3) – Get another look at the environments, creatures, combat, and story of the new Castlevania game that has no connection to the previous games.  In other words, it is perfect for those like me who are going to be new to the series with this game (unless something goes horribly wrong, like it sucking).  Check it out here.

DC Universe Online Trailer – (PS3/PC) – Just like I have said numerous times for the Star Wars: The Old Republic trailers, though I really have no intention of playing both of these MMOs, the CGI trailers they are creating for these are mighty snazzy.  And this one has superheroes.  So double bonus.  Check it out here.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West Trailer – (360/PS3) – Here’s another very brief trailer for the upcoming action/adventure game, that shows little more than we already know.  But the game is still looking good both visually and conceptually, with what sounds to be some pretty good voice acting to boot.  Check it out here.

Fable III Opening Cinematic – (360/PC) – See what leading a rebellion is like for a chicken.  Maybe you will have better luck when you lead the fight this fall.  Check it out here.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Teaser Trailer – (360/PS3/PC) – Lately I have been so immersed in a series of fantasy novels that I have been fantasizing about what it would be like to play through that world in a video game form.  Though I might not get that chance, Kingdoms of Amalur just might have to fill that void.  Apparently this is just a glimpse of what is to come for a MMO of the same world that was created for this game, but I am much more excited for this open world RPG.  The teaser trailer just hints at what is to come, but they already have a lot boast about, including some big names providing the story and look of the world.  Check it out here.
