Movies:
The Loved Ones – As the school year comes to an end something at the top of most girls’ lists is a date to the prom. Apparently some girls are willing to go much further than others to get what they want. Disturbingly far… Check it out here.
Resident Evil: Afterlife Trailer #2 – There are so many things working against this film: 1 – It’s the fourth (live action) film in a series that has had its ups and downs. 2 – It looks like it is “stealing” heavily from The Matrix (which I personally am more than happy to see since The Matrix was an amazing movie, so shut your faces haters). 3 – It’s in 3D. But you know what, I would not count this one out yet. Sure, having this many sequels sometimes leads the feeling that a franchise just doesn’t know when to die (stupid phrasing for a zombie franchise), but I know that I really want to see what happens after the cliffhangers of the third film. And 3D matrixy moves blended with zombies sounds like a good time in my opinion, and with what looks comparable in this trailer to the portions of what I saw my roomie playing in Resident Evil 5, this could be a film that competes with the first film to be the best in the series. But I won’t count my chickens just yet. Check it out here.
Welcome to the Rileys Trailer – A couple deals with the death of their daughter in their own ways, with the wife becoming a recluse and the husband taking in a runaway stripper. Yeah… I don’t know if there is any way of saying that last bit without laughing… But the performances from James Gandolfini, Melissa Leo and Kristen Stewart look to make this tug at the heartstrings. Check out the trailer here.
Gaming:
Infamous 2 Gameplay Trailer – (PS3) – I loved the first game so much that I wasn’t really sure what all they were talking about when the developers were mentioning making this game what they were unable to do the first time around. This gameplay trailer puts rest to the confusion. The combat looks far cooler this time around in concern to look as it will go in and out of regular fighting and cinematic takedowns rather fluidly. Plus, moving around the environment looks far less strenuous than it was before. Check it out here.
The Internets:
The LXD – This internet dancing series has finally been put out and honestly I am a little mixed on it. I am not sold on the story at all, but the two episodes that have been posted so far have some great dancing in them. I just think that as of now the pacing is a little off, but once that is figured out maybe things will start to look up for it. See what you think by clicking here.
Old Spice Commercial – Just incase you have yet to be treated to this majestic experience with the idyllic man, then I have just the link for you. Now click here!
